At Charis Academy, we measure growth not only through academics, but through character, service, leadership, future readiness, and the long-term impact students make in their families and community.
Measurement and evaluation of Charis Academy's impact on students, families, and the community is currently being collected and analyzed.
I would highly recommend Charis Academy to everybody. My granddaughter has gone there since first grade, now going into seventh grade, and every single teacher she has had could not do any better.
They are all so kind, understanding of each individual child, funny, caring, and have wonderful methods of teaching. This past year the school opened a homework center, which is a great help if a child needs extra help with a subject or to get caught up on homework. Of most importance though to me is the Christian attitude. They have strong morals and teach respect, kindness, and love of Jesus. Like the principal said, yes grades are important but more importantly is to raise a good human being. Amen to that.

Charis Academy has made a tremendous impact on our family. My son is currently in 2nd grade, and it has been incredible to watch him grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. The teachers create an environment where students are challenged to succeed while also being encouraged to live out Christian values each day.

A student came into the High school and decided they were going to have a "self proclaimed" self appreciation day. He even influences others to dress the same as they were dressing, that day. When the student came into school in the morning there was an amazing conversation about "influence" and how its a gift from God and how to use it correctly. It was a wonderful teachable moment.

My daughter was born a micropreemie at just 24 weeks. She has had a unique journey with expected ups and downs. This is her second year at this school and she has received services with improving her speech and reading. With the small class sizes, she gets the one on one attention that every child deserves. She is thriving at this school and even making honors.
